As a bonus all ingredients are safe and non toxic, the only glass cleaner that could say that! Green Glass Clean is safe to use on plastic, ceramic, wood, glass and anything you could smoke from. No alcohols and no salts for abrasion cleaning, this stuff gets the same clean while letting you enjoy the taste of a clean bong instead of nasty hidden alcohol and salt drenched resin. Ever take a hit after cleaning with alcohol based cleaners? I get those nasty alcohol fumes in my lungs and choke! Not with Green Glass Clean.

My TY RooR was as clean and smooth as the day it arrived from Germany. My honest opinion of this stuff…it rocks! Easy to use and doesn’t have an obnoxious smell to it. The only downside I found was that it does take longer than traditional alcohol based cleaners to do the job, however it also gets all the grime off unlike other cleaners where abrasion marks are noticeable.

I will use this stuff in the future, it’s good for a quick clean but probably not the best to use while a group is waiting for a clean piece to use. However if you want your piece to gleam like it did the day you got it, well than this stuff is for you!

I then filled up the tube with hot water and poured a little Green Glass Clean in. This time I used a little smaller of a cleaner to water ratio. I let it sit for about 20 minutes. When I returned I rinsed with hot water and shook it around a little bit. The bong was pretty much instantly clean. There were a few tiny spots that didn’t come off, but I think this was due to it being so dirty and me not letting it soak enough. It also could have been the fact that this cleaner does not contain any salts to scratch the surface clean. At first I thought this could be a bad thing, however in the long run it is a very good thing because your glass will not be scratched.

It is important to note that these instructional steps are only for hookah hoses advertised as “washable” (including the Nammor Hookah Hose and the Washable Hookah Hose).  Running water through a non-washable hose will damage the inner lining and cause unwanted corrosion and/or rusting.

This is also recommended before you first use a new Nammor Hookah Hose to get out any plastic “new hose” taste!

Step 1:  Fill ‘er up! Remove the mouthpiece and fill the hose about halfway up with water from a tap.  You can also pour in the water from a pitcher or use purified bottled water if you so desire.

Step 2: Lemon Juice is your friend! We’ve found that a squeeze of lemon juice mixed with the water is great for neutralizing any odors, as well as giving off a “fresh” scent to your hose.  We’ve also heard a pinch of baking soda helps as well.  You can also add a squeeze of natural cleaning solution such as Bling!

Step 3: Swish! You’re going to want to swish around the water/lemon juice mixture, much like your dentist makes you swish fluoride.  Plug up the ends of the hose with your thumbs to prevent spillage, and do this for at a good solid minute at least.  Pour the water back into the sink and repeat this step as many times as necessary, depending on how dirty the hose is.

Step 4: Swing! After you have poured out the water, there will still be some moisture left in the hose that gravity alone won’t get out.  Here’s where a little centrifugal force comes in handy (you’re going to want to do this outdoors, by the way).  Grab the hose by the middle and swing it around by your side, which will force out any loose drops of moisture.  You should only have to do this for less than a minute.

Step 5: Hang in there! When you feel that you’ve gotten all of the moisture droplets out from swinging it, blow through the hose one last time to let loose any liquid residue.   Let the hose dry out by hanging it thusly, so that both ends are pointing down letting any leftover dried particles to fall out.

Once the hose is dry, you’re ready to fire up that hookah!  Happy smoking!

Nuts and Gum, together at last…in a hookah blog!  Where else would these comically mismatched chewables mix together for a unique taste than in the hookah world?  While we have several posts highlighting the myriad of shisha tobacco flavors we offer including cocktail themed flavors, coffee flavors, dessert flavors, non-fruity flavors, even basic traditional flavors, here we present 6 types of shisha flavors that are in a category of their own: Nuts and Gum!

Romman Almond and Starbuzz Bubble Gum.  Romman’s almond has that sweet orgeat syrup taste and the bubble gum from Starbuzz is slightly minty and slightly fruity with an authentic chewing gum taste.

Nakhla Pistachio and Al Fakher Spearmint Gum.  The pistachio flavor from Nakhla is quite strong, so pack lightly and don’t use too much heat!  The Spearmint flavor from Al Fakher is smooth, minty, and lasts an extra long time!

Fusion Hazelnut and Fantasia Bubble Gum.  The Hazelnut flavor is reminiscent of a strong hazelnut latte with a slight vanilla aftertaste and the smoke from Fantasia’s bubble gum flavor tastes like a handful of gumballs from the candy machine.
